Wildly Radical wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.

What we're working toward

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility, and we support the goals of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

What we've done

• Descriptive alternative text on images, so screen readers can describe our expedition photography
• Semantic page structure with proper headings, so pages can be navigated by structure
• Keyboard navigation for interactive elements
• Text that resizes without breaking the layout
• Colour contrast intended to meet AA thresholds
• Descriptive link text, so links make sense out of context

Where we fall short

We'd rather be honest than claim full compliance:

• Some older gallery images still have incomplete alternative text. We're working through them.
• Our site is built on Wix, and some third-party components — embedded social feeds, forms, and maps — aren't fully under our control.
• Embedded Instagram content may not carry adequate alternative text, as it's pulled directly from that platform.
• Some decorative and background imagery may not yet be correctly marked as decorative.

We're a small, founder-run business, and we fix these as we find them.

A note on our trips

This statement covers our website. Our expeditions themselves involve remote high-altitude terrain, unpaved roads, camping, and homestays with basic facilities — physical demands we can't remove without changing what the trip is.

That said, we'd rather have the conversation than assume. If you have a disability or medical condition and want to know whether a trip could work for you, email us. We'll tell you honestly what the terrain and conditions involve, what we could adapt, and what we couldn't. Some things are more workable than people expect. Some genuinely aren't, and we'll say so.

If you hit a barrier on this site — a page you can't navigate, an image without a description, a form that won't work with your assistive technology — please tell us. It's the fastest way for us to fix it.

Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what went wrong. We aim to respond within 5 working days and to fix confirmed issues as quickly as we reasonably can.

If our response doesn't resolve it, write to us again marked for the attention of the founder, and it will be reviewed directly.
