What is Overlanding and Why India's Mountains Are Perfect For It

Overlanding is travel by 4x4 vehicle through remote terrain — where the road is part of the experience, not just the means to get there. No flights, no tourist circuits, no famous viewpoints with parking lots. Just a small convoy moving through the kind of terrain most people drive past on the highway.

India's mountain routes — Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Spiti — are some of the best overlanding terrain on earth. Rough forest tracks, high passes, river valleys that require a 4x4 and reward every difficult kilometre. This is what we build trips around.

Our Current Overlanding Departures

Sainj Valley Road Trip — October 2026
6 days from Chandigarh through Narkanda, Ani, and Jalori Pass into the Great Himalayan National Park buffer zone. ₹42,000 per person. 12 spots.

Sainj Valley
OCt'26

Zanskar isn’t easy to reach and that’s exactly why it feels the way it does.

Long days on the saddle. Quiet villages.
Landscapes that make you slow down whether you want to or not. This journey is less about speed, more about sinking into the experience.

You’ll feel the remoteness.
You’ll feel the effort. And somewhere in that, you’ll find space you don’t usually get.

This is our "Wilder" Zanskar an 7-days expedition designed for those who find joy in the grit, the high passes, and the quiet magic of a shared camp meal under a billion stars.

We move beyond the popular transit routes into a Zanskar that remains beautifully unhurried.
